5/17/09 ~ ThunderStix Softball
Stix Win NSA Mid-South Championship
Thunderstix Softball stayed hot posting a 5-1 record on their way to winning the NSA Mid-South Championship in Memphis.
They defeated Team Memphis and Above & Beyond before falling in the winners' bracket championship to the Scrapducks 9-8.
They Stix went on to defeat Snipers to set up another Thunderstix-Scrapducks championship matchup. The "Stix" got hot pounding
out 62 hits and scoring 37 runs to double-dip for the championship and paid NSA State Tournament birth.

Stix Take ISA Strawberry Bowl
Thunderstix Softball got back on track by posting a 5-1 record on their way to winning the ISA Strawberry
Bowl Lower Division Championship. They defeated Punishers, Outlaws, and Foam Fab before having to beat the
Scrapducks two of three games to capture 1st Place. Jason Campbell
was named the tournament MVP after going 23-for-28 on the day including a 14-for-14 performance in the final
3 games. The Stix will travel to Clarksville, TN on 5/9/2009 to compete in the NSA 4 Game Guarantee.
