5/23/10 ~ ThunderStix Softball
Stix 3-Peat as NSA Midsouth Champs
ThunderStix continued their hot streak as they rolled to a 4-0 record to capture their thrid straight NSA Midsouth Championship. After playing the 2008
tournament in Humboldt, this tournament was moved to Bartlett last season. The Stix are now 7-1 in their last 8 games including two 2nd place finishes
and one championship. They will take some time off before traveling to Tupelo, MS for the ASA Gumtree on June 11th.

Stix Finish 2nd Again
In a rain-shortened tournament, ThunderStix took home the 2nd place trophy for a second consecutive week. After defeating Reaper and Playmakers, the Stix went
cold against a very good Shockers team as they dropped game 3. Game 4 was ended due to rain and lightening, but the Stix won the coin toss to take home 2nd place.
They will regroup again next weekend as they travel to Bartlett to defend the NSA Midsouth Championship crown they earned last year.

Stix Battle to Capture 2nd Place
After dropping two close games to open the tournament, ThunderStix rolled off four straight wins before falling short to Reaper Softball 19-20 in the
championship game of the ISA State Qualifier at Bartlett. The Stix will be in Humboldt next weekend for the ISA Strawberry/Teapot Tournament.
